CAT ANGELS: The Secret Lives of Cats was  selected by the Cat Writers Association Communications Contest judges as a 2010 Certificate of Excellence winner.
 

Al Petteway and Amy White will perform a benefit concert for the Asheville Humane Society on Thursday, October 14 at 7:00 PM at the White Horse Black Mountain. 828 669-0816. All net proceeds from ticket sales, all funds from the Silent Auction, and a percentage of book sales will be donated to the cause. It will be an evening of live music, art & good critter-lovin’ fun.  See you there!

What a great night!

• Video-Projections of Cat Angel Images with Critter-friendly Quotations
• Silent Auction items from Asheville-area businesses and artists (including offerings by several Southern Highland Craft Guild Members and even a workshop by a licensed Raptor handler!)
• and dozens of Cat Angel books personalized for people and their beloved felines.

We are very happy to report that with combined proceeds from Concert Ticket Sales, Book Sales & Silent Auction wins, we were able to raise $2,850 for the Asheville Humane Society!  Big thanks to all the kind folks who attended, donated & bid that evening.  This couldn’t have happened without you.
